Terms - Amador Giving Tuesday

Your donations will be processed through PayPal. The Amador Community Foundation and the Non-Profits you donate to will have access to your contact information. You may receive thank you letters and advertising for future Amador Giving Tuesday events and other local non-profit events/fundraisers. We will do our best to limit those solicitations. We appreciate your support of the local Amador County Non-Profits. The Amador Community Foundation is proud to host Giving Tuesday.

Donation Disclosure

By donating, you acknowledge that your donation will be directed to the nonprofit organization(s) you select. Standard payment processor fees apply; Amador Community Foundation does not deduct any additional fees from your donation. Donations are collected by the Amador Community Foundation and granted to selected nonprofits within 15 business days after the event. Donor information will be shared with the nonprofit(s) you select unless you choose to donate anonymously. Donations are generally nonrefundable.

Your donation was processed securely through the Give Amador platform hosted by Amador Community Foundation (ACF).
No additional fees were deducted by ACF; standard payment processor fees apply.

Your gift will be granted to the nonprofit(s) you selected within 15 business days following the event.

Unless you choose to donate anonymously, your donor information will be shared with the nonprofit(s) you selected so they may acknowledge your gift.

Acceptance of Terms

By using GiveAmador.org, you agree to these Terms of Use and all applicable policies, including the Donation Terms & Disclosures and Privacy Policy.

Nature of the Platform

GiveAmador.org is a charitable fundraising platform that enables donors to contribute to multiple participating nonprofit organizations during Amador Giving Tuesday. Donations are processed by Amador Community Foundation and granted to the nonprofit(s) chosen by the donor.

Eligibility of Participating Nonprofits

Nonprofits participating must be:

IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organizations in good standing with the IRS, DOJ, and Franchise Tax Board.

Donations

By donating, you agree that:

Your donation will be directed to the nonprofit(s) you select.
Standard payment processor fees apply.
ACF does not deduct additional fees.
Donations are generally nonrefundable.

Distribution of Donations

ACF distributes donations to nonprofits within 15 business days after the event unless unforeseen delays occur.

Donor Information and Privacy

Unless you mark your donation as anonymous:

Your name, email, and mailing address will be shared with the nonprofit(s) you selected.
ACF may also use your contact information to provide a tax receipt or required notices.

Receipt of Funds

Nonprofits receiving funds agree:

To use funds in accordance with their charitable purpose and applicable laws.
That any misrepresentation may result in termination of participation.
